| Aug 28 U11D vs Tuggerah , Result: 8 - 0 Win A great end to the regular season. A big win today and I am immensely proud of every individual in the team. The camaraderie and respect of being part of a team has been the most pleasing and to know that you can rely on every other player in the team to do their job and on occasions back us up in our job is a testament to the fortitude of every player. It is mutual respect. We have had a lot of good times this year and some tough times and I still reflect on the game verse Killarney where we tried our hearts out all the way to the end of the game (with only 8 players). I am sure your parents have witnessed a step-up in intensity and commitment over the last month from all, particularly late into the game and this is a great trait to have in life, never give up and always strive to do better. So where did we end up? LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You reap what you sow and I can say this, it is a true testament of the effort displayed by all individual players, committed parents and the resultant cohesive team that see us as league champions and the wonderful opportunity it represents to contest the finals series. This is a great experience for all and I hope above all it is an enjoyable and memorable one for the kids. Shaune - Coach |

| Jul 17 U11D vs Killarney Vale , Result: 1 - 5 Loss A FANTASTIC EFFORT TODAY! We were a team of 8 today against their 12 or 13. Killarney's coach even congratulated you all on your game. Great effort at covering the field. Nathan had some cracking shots at goal and it is such a shame that they did not go in after all the effort he went to to get it up to the goal. Damon did a great job in goals, as always, being quite assertive when needed. Some good runs from Dannan, Olivia & Thomas - you did well with the amount of field you had to cover. Jamie and Jacob defended well with some lengthy kicks as required. Owen was not bothered by having two taller opposition players crowding him - some great getaways! Well done to everyone for jostling them and defending as well as you did. You were ALL deservably players of the match! Thanks Cody for turning up to watch even though you could not play. Liam, Malachi & Nick were away. |
