| Sep 04 U12D vs East Gosford , Result: 1 - 0 Win Congratulations Guys - Best game in last 4 Great to see you can play as I know you all can. In summary, 2 goals from offside,1 missed penalty, and 2 missed sitters!!! Thats not a complaint as to how that happened but a pat on the back for creating those opportunities in the first place. Well Done. You all played like champions and deserve the accolades. Hope to organise a trial game next weekend to keep you on your toes, but will still be at training tuesday night. | Aug 28 U12D vs Avoca , Result: 0 - 0 Draw Congratulations Guys - Undefeated Minor Premiers - Well done all, I'm very proud of you as I'm sure your parents are. As for todays game - Avoca didn't get one shot at goal and the majority of the game was played in their half. We were very unlucky not to score from some great passes and just couldn't get the ball past their goalkeeper, but some great attempts. Again, excellent defence from all and a good result in the end. See you all at training Tuesday - keep an eye on your e-mails as I am trying to organise some additional training. Ron |
| Aug 21 U12D vs Woongarrah , Result: 2 - 1 Win Another cold and windy day on the sidelines. Less than 10 minutes into the game saw us 1 goal down after an excellent pass through our defence leaving Shannan with no chance to save. Certainly woke you up with a lot more enthusiasm and thought put into your game afterwards. With the wings working overtime we managed to claw back 2 great goals by Connor and Cam ending the first half 2/0 up. Second half comprised attack / defence by both teams with no goals scored. As usual everyone played well with special mention to Bryce and Connor. Well done Nathan - "Man of the Match" Some of you off this week with school activities so Parents - BRING THE BOYS BACK IN ONE PIECE BECAUSE I NEED YOU ALL FIRING NEXT WEEKEND!!!! Ron |

| Aug 07 U12D vs East Gosford , Result: 2 - 2 Draw A cold start to the day at East Gosford reflected in an unusual apathetic approach to the task at hand, bearing in mind East Gosfords record to date. The opposition got off to a good start and managed to penetrate our defence with some great through passes resulting in an early goal. With 3 very quick forwards they certainly applied a lot more pressure to our defence than we have previously encountered. Down 1-0 at half time. The second half was a distinct contrast to the first with a lot more thought and control resulting in more attacks on their goalmouth and a great (second attempt) goal by Will N to equalise. A bit of a difference of opinion in our goalmouth resulted in the opposition being awarded a penalty from which they converted to take the lead. Some great play by Lane on the left wing eventually gave him a well-deserved goal and 'Man of the Match" - Well done Lane. Judging by the scuffed knees and limping you all knew you had been in a tough game - bear in mind that in open play you scored 2 goals to their 1 so again, you all did very well. Remember, when you are on top everyone is out to beat you!!!!! Tough games ahead so see you all at training on Tuesday - Have a great weekend. Ron |

| Jul 24 U12D vs Gwandalan , Result: 4 - 0 Win I don't know if it was the long drive,the early start or you all had something weird for breakfast but the first three quarters of the game was wonderful to watch. Best display of passing I have seen followed up with great crosses and utimately rewarded with goals. Cam, why are we playing you up front?? Magic in mid. I really saw you all play as a team today and it was great to watch. Charlie - played a blinder in defence against a much bigger boy and came out in front. Well done 'Man of the Match' and well done all of you. |
| Jul 17 U12D vs Wyoming , Result: 1 - 0 Win Well done yesterday boys. Considering you haven't had a chance to play or train for a couple of weeks, you did very well on the field. Our posession was mostly in the oppositions end of the field, so thats a great effort. Luckily we scored a goal in the last 10 minutes of the game, well done Matt for his goal. Man of the Match went to Will N. |
| Jul 03 U12D vs Berkeley Vale , Result: 3 - 0 Win Bitterly cold at Kurraba Oval away to Berkley Vale this morning!! Well done parents for turning up to support the boys. Got off to a flying start with 4 shots past the opposition keeper - Unfortunately they were all from an "Offside Position" so none counted. Once again defenders played to the hilt preventing some very good attacks from B/V and again we came through without the opposition scoring. Well done to Shannan, Blake, Brandon, Lane & Nat. A short tactics talk at half time finally produced the goals we deserved and I was very impressed by the passing,positioning and finish shown by all. You are all getting to know where your team mates are and using that to produce results. Kurt - fantastic goal and well done Nathan with 2, all of which came from great passes. Well done All! Congratulations to Nat as 'Man of the Match' and Happy Birthday from us all. If I'd known I would have baked a cake. | Jun 26 U12D vs Budgewoi , Result: 2 - 0 Win The Good News: We have extra money towards the End of Year Party The Bad News: Budgewoi had to forfeit due to injuries. Fortunately the Under 11 team kindly supplied several players which allowed us to make up 2 teams of 10 for a friendly. Sad to say they beat us 7:1. However, we did get a run and we should have learnt a lot from the way they played with regard to positions, passing and enthusiam. Midfield - Want to play like their left mid??? Gala day tomorrow at Mt Penang - Should be a great day and I look forward to seeing you all there. Again, many thanks to Dave and his team for helping us out! Ron |
| Jun 19 U12D vs Avoca , Result: 2 - 1 Win After a long lay-up you haven't lost the ability to create opportunities to score. Some wayward shots maybe, but the opportunities were still there, and the result speaks for itself. Up against a team that were undefeated I was impressed with everyone's performance. Probably due to just having scored there was a momentary lapse in concentration on kick off followed by a goal to the opposition while we were still getting back into position. Something to look out for. Lane - great to find a back-up left wing - had an excellent game both in defence and left wing - well done. Connor - Seems you can play anywhere. Charlie - great defence work - another all-rounder. Goals to Nathan and Will L - well done guys and "man of the Match to Will Lowe. Well done all. See you at training Tuesday. | May 15 U12D vs Wyong , Result: 6 - 0 Win It must have been training on Tuesday but what a difference from the past two games. Again we created opportunities up front but today you managed to take advantage resulting in some excellent finishing off and a healthy 6 goals into the bargain. Wyong had a couple of very good players up front and it,s a credit to our defence that they were not able to score. This week saw more control of the ball and more thought put into passing which shows you are all getting to know where your team members are. Well done all and congrats to Lane as Man of the Match.. | May 08 U12D vs Gwandalan , Result: 0 - 0 Draw Hi Guys - Sorry for the lack of a report for last week - I left straight after the game to go camping for the weekend and forgot to sumit it on return. Great individual goal by Matt Craig & Man of The Match. Today! Once again you all played very well on an individual basis but we were unable to convert some excellent opportunities to score a goal - similar to last week. The past 2 weeks have been difficult for me to use our subs in a position they usually play in and be fair in who gets to sit out. There will therefore be a change in this procedure from next week which I will discuss on Tuesday training.Again, well played all of you and well done Will Lowe - Man of the Match. |
| May 01 U12D vs Wyoming , Result: 1 - 0 Win Great Game yesterday everyone. A little bit more competitive this time around. The opposition made you work hard for your goal. Congratulations to Matt (man of the match) for his fantasitc goal, some really fancy footwork to get that one in. Everyone played hard yesterday, we just need to finish off with really hard kicks at the goal. Keep up the good work |
| Apr 17 U12D vs Berkeley Vale , Result: 7 - 1 Win Once again a great game by the Boys. Excellent passing from defence and mid field gave our forwards plenty of opportunities resulting in 7 goals scored - Well done Connor(1), Nathan(3), Cameron(1), Shanan(1, again), and Kurt(1). While it's great to score goals, these oppotunities only come about with constuctive work from defence and mid field and today was a great example of that. However, mid field was neglected in the second half with Connor having to play everywhere - Well done Connor. Good to have Will Lowe & Bryce back on Board. Blake ! - no wonder you were tired at the end / played a blinder in defence Well done 'Man of the Match' & well done all of you. Training Tuesday 6.00pm - No game next week - Public Holiday |
| Apr 10 U12D vs Budgewoi , Result: 11 - 0 Win The boys played a very strong game today, in very hot weather. We just had the bare 11 players on the field this week and they kept up their high energy levels throughout the whole game. Goals were scored by Matt (2) Nathan (1) Cameron (3) Will (2) Shanan (2)and Lane (1). Although we were very strong in attack today there was also some very strong defence from the rest of the side. Unusual to have such strong communication between players so early in the season and certainly bodes well for the rest of the season. Very good mid field distribution as well. Great start to the season guys - keep up the good work. Difficult to pick out any individual today but to have your goalkeeper spend 12 minutes as striker and score 2 goals - fantastic!!!
