Wins Losses Draws   For Against

Jul 18 U15A vs Woy Woy , Result: 3 - 1 Win
On Sunday we played Woy Woy again after having a 0-0 draw against them the previous day. The day did not begin well with two players being unavailable thru injuries they sustained from the previous day. We were fortunate though to be able to call on the services of two players from the 14's (Warren Forest and Matthew Broadhurst) and two from 15 C's (Aaron Jenkins and Jonathan Englert). Kincumber got off to a flying start with Luke MClaughin scoring a very well taken goal. Unfortunately we did not hold onto the lead for the long as Woy Woy scored an equaliser-much to the satisfaction of many of the Terrigal players who stayed behind to watch the game. Despite Kincumber having multiple chances to score it looked destined to be another one of those days where you cannot turn dominance into goals. This all changed with about 7 minutes to go when luke mclaughlin scored another well taken goal with his left foot this time. Not long after scoring the second goal kincumber scored again thru Aaron Beehag being" jonny on the spot " with a shot which rebounded off the upright. The win was particularly rewarding as it provides Kincumber with an opportunity to jump up to 2nd or third this weekend depending on results. Well done Team and I would like to say that luke mclaughlin's player of the match was well deserved. In fact with an ounce of luck Luke could have scored 6 goals.

Jul 03 U15A vs Terrigal , Result: 2 - 0 Win
Today's game was against our arch enemy ,Terrigal, was an important one as the winner would go to outright fourth on the table. Fortunately, the Team turned up to play today and were lucky enough to run with the wind in the first half. The re-adjustment of our defence personnel work wonders and allowed the Team to overcome the disappointment of last week's two losses. Kincumber played some terrific football in the first half and were rewarded for their efforts with two fine goals: one from Aaron Beehag and the other from, Darcy Hamilton. Regrettably, the second half deteriorated to the point that very little soccer was played and Kincumber was happy just to defend its 2-0 lead. Kincumber achieved their goal and came out 2-0 winners. It would be remiss of me if I did not mention the outstanding return of Nick Buddeke today after a three week absence with a serious injury. His presence in midfield today was sorely needed and in fact he was probably worthy of man of the match. Well done Team-keep up the good work.

Jun 20 U15A vs Toukley , Result: 3 - 2 Win
Today we played the undefeated leaders of the competition: Toukley and we thought that things could not get any worse with our horrific run of injuries. How wrong were we as when I arrived at the ground I was informed that one of senior players, Kurt Davis, had not recovered from the horrendous hit he endured the day before against Gosford. This meant we were down four senior players and were only able to barely field a full team with three players backing up from 15C's. As mentioned in yesterday's report we are sincerely indebted to the 15C's as we could not field a Team without their assistance, let alone the fact that the parents of these children had to drive all the way to Mangrove Mountain-once again a big thank you goes out to Jonathan Englert, Cameron Smith and Matt Wilkinson and their respective parents.
Even though we were up against it, we knew that the heart and spirit in this Team is second to none and that they would not give in without a fight. We were also fortunate enough to have watched Toukley play us in first round so were able to formulate a game plan to combat Toukley's strengths. The strategy was working well until late into the first half when Toukley scored an off-side goal against the run of play. Unfortunately Toukley scored a rather fortuitous goal early in the second half but you could sense Toukley were tiring and that Kincumber was coming home with a wet sail despite not having any reserves. Sure enough as soon as Kincumber scored their first goal through Aaron Beehag you could sense we were going to give this game a real shake. When Aaron Beehag scored kincumber's second goal off Luke Xerri's defected shot, the momentum was very much swinging Kincumber's way. Then to really top the game off Justin Mckenzie scored a pearlier of a goal from a free kick with approximately five minutes to go.The game ended with Kincumber winning 3 goals to 2.Well done Team you really did the parents and the Kincumber club proud with your performance today. My only criticism is I would like to see a few more goal celebrations as the parents really enjoy them.It would be unfair to single out any one player today as every one of the eleven players were outstanding and can be very proud of their performance.your players/player was Aaron

Jun 19 U15A vs Gosford , Result: 1 - 1 Draw
In probably the most exciting game of the year, Kincumber had a well deserved 1-1 draw with the competition heavyweights:Gosford. In fact if truth be known Kincumber deserved to win the game as Gosford scored their goal off a freekick which should not have been given in the first place. Ah well, that is soccer and you have to accept the good with the bad! A number of Kincumber's senior players really tried to dominate the game through skill and physical presence today which was very rewarding and comforting to the coaching staff and the parents who watched the game. Special mention must also be made of Aaron Jenkins who filled as a goalkeeper and had an outstanding game- I would even go as far as to say he was the player of the match. I would also like to thank the other players who filled in today after playing their own game and those players are Aaron Jenkins, Jacob Mclean,Cameron Smith and Jonathan Englert. I would also like to thank their parents for bringing them to the game after ! already taking them to their first game. Quite simply the 15A's could not have been competitive this year (after all the serious injuries) if players from the 15C's and 14A's had not been willing to fill in-so please accept our sincere appreciation.
Well done Team on an excellent game-it demonstates the heart this Team has to play under such difficult circumstances. Kincumber's goal today was scored by Luke Xerri off a long throw from Brock Daubert.

May 15 U15A vs Terrigal , Result: 2 - 2 Draw
Although the standard of soccer played was not of a high standard, the game itself was an exciting one.The fortunes of the game ebbed & flowed, with Kincumber dominating & look like scoring the winning goal.
Kincumber scored the first goal early in the match with Darcy latching onto an excellent through ball from cameron .Terrigal equalized late in the first half through a very dubious goal. I say dubious because it is my understanding a goalkeeper cannot be touched in the penalty box & this is exactly what happened with our goal keeper being knocked by an opposition player which resulted in the ball being jolted from our keepers hands. I must say however that Kincumber only has itself to blame,as they should have defended the free kick on the edge of the penalty box instead of the six yard area.
Terrigals second goal came midway thru the second half through another free kick which many of our players thought should not have been a free kick in the first instance.
To Kincumber's credit , they never gave up & were justly rewarded late in the second half with Kurt Davis scoring a dead set "bomb" of a goal from outside the penalty area .Ronaldo himself would have been proud of this goal.Well done Kurt & just reward for the effort & determination you have put in this year.
The final score of 2-2 was one which Kincumber should be very proud of given the number of players adsent & number of players who played despite being ill & really under any other circumstances would not have played.
A big thankyou to the three players from our 15c's ,Cameron,Jonathon & Daniel who filled in for us today.
Given the effort put in by all players today under very difficult circumstances, it would be grossly unfair to single out a player of the match. Well done team.Your players/player this week were,Kurt,Luke.x & Darcy

May 08 U15A vs Killarney , Result: 2 - 0 Win
Another great win, team keep up the good work. Would like to thank Daniel, Cameron and Jonathon from the 15c, for stepping up and supporting our team, your support is greatly appreciated. Brock had an exceptional game in goal keeper, for the very first time. Our goals this week were scored by Luke X & Luke M, must have been a Luke week. Man of the match this week has been spilt with Luke M and Brock. Players player this week is Brock, Kurt and Blake. Keep up the great team work, guys and girls. See you on the field next week when we play Terrigal.

May 01 U15A vs Gosford , Result: 2 - 3 Loss
Another tuff game team! This game started off that fast with the first goal being scored by Brock in the first minute which will be a record for this team, well done! There was some clever movement down the right side today with the inclusion of Luke M, dodgeing and weaving down the line to link with Aaron and Brock to create havoc in the front line. By half time with the score 2-1 down, the Roos came out and did us proud again coming back in the second to equalise 2-2, with a double for Brock. Again these games are won and lossed in the last 20 mins. The effort you are all putting in at training will pay, just be patient the wins will come. A mention for Aaron and Darcy who ran like Gazelles all day, Great Effort! A special thanks to Brad & Ryan from the 14a's as subs.

Apr 24 U15A vs Budgewoi , Result: 1 - 1 Draw
Today's game against Budgewoi was always going to be a fight to the end. The team produced another outstanding game, scoring in the first half (Luke Xerri), and creating half a dozen opportunities to extend the lead. Budgewoi to there credit came back to equalise with ten mintues remaining, putting the pressure back on us. As usual the boys responded and finished clearly on top and unlucky not to take all the points. Our team would like to thank Josh & Brad from the 14a's, who did an outstanding job for our team today as subs.
Man of the Match today is Luke Xerri and Players Player is Blayne Wellington.

Apr 10 U15A vs Woy Woy , Result: 2 - 0 Win
