Great game again boys. Awesome teamwork, fantastic kicks from Joel, great defence from Mack, the attack was second to none from Philippe and Connor and Cam was our workhorse for the day, he was into just about everything - well done - you deserved Player of the Week.
A very high commendation to our new team member Will. He had a go at everything and tried his absolute best, if only that kick for goal in the first half had gone in, it would have been a perfect start to his soccer 'career'.

Another tough game boys but an impressive display of teamwork from everyone involved. Congratulations to our goal scorers and a special shout out to Phillippe who took quite a few big falls. Congratulations to Connor who was this weeks Player of the Week.
We are looking forward to our new team member Will joining us for next weeks game (and now we have 2 subs so the boys wont get so tired). |
May 01 U7-3 vs Terrigal U 7/12 , Result: 0 - 0 Loss
A fantasic effort this week boys, everyone played extremely well against a very 'savvy' team. Cam was on the field for about a minute before he scored a goal and Joel scored another goal (off a Terrigal player - thanks, we'll take that!).
Great defence from Mack and awesome attack from Philippe and Connor (if only one or two of your 5 shots at goal went in - never mind, next week buddy!)

Great effort today boys! Not the result us 'non-competitive' parents would have liked but considering we only had 4 players and they had 6 it was a titan effort! Connor was our goal scoring powerhouse with an awesome goal from Philippe to add to the mix. Mackenzie and Joel just seemed to be in the right place at the right time with great defence and some big kicks that got the ball out of danger. By the end of the match the boys were all sucking in very big breaths, holding stitches in their sides and generally exhausted - what an amazing match to kick off the season. |
