Well dont we all love travelling to Gwandalan. Girls started the game very flat today and it took them until the second half to start playing their own game. A good result and man of the match went to Sian. |

Good soccer skills on the park today especially when we were short players. Well done to all girls and the backs played extremely well. Man of the Match went to Shania, who keep backing up when it counted most. Thank you to Heidi although she was missed in the forwards she did a fantastic job in goals |
Jun 27 W14B vs Killarney Vale , Result: 10 - 0 Win
A muddy start to the day and the girls were ready to get dirty. The ref or linesman didnt show but thankfully Mark Piltz and David Cullen put their hand up and both did a great job. Thank you. Everyone pitched in with 4 goal scorers for the day. The backs keep Killarney Vale scoreless. The final score was a good indication of how the game was played by the girls. Nicky received man of the match.

Jun 20 W14B vs Woy Woy , Result: 1 - 1 Draw
Started the game with only 10 players as Hanna and Kayla were not there. It was always going to be a hard game with Woy Woy as our opposition, a fantastic goal by Nicole in the early stages of the game seen us ahead at 1 nil. Nicole scored another goal which was disallowed and she got hurt in the process so we were down to 9 players. Woy Woy came back and scored a goal to make the score 1 all.

Jun 13 W14B vs East Gosford , Result: 9 - 0 Win
It is good to be playing soccer again. Quick start to the game with Sian scoring the first goal. Today's game was not about how many goals we can score but about passing the ball around the field and this will strengthen the girls game and improve their skills. Goals scored today Sian 2, Hanna 3, Heidi 1, Nicole 2 and Alana 1. Sophie controlled the mid field and she was awarded man of the match. |
May 16 W14B vs Woy Woy , Result: 3 - 1 Win
Good game by all the girls and we played today without Rosie. Not quite as convincing win as the first round however the girls held it together on the field and it paid off. Sian scoring all three goals and with two of them it was the Heidi and Sharn combination. Alana had her work cut out for her in this game and she was man of the match. Great work girls. |
May 08 W14B vs East Gosford , Result: 11 - 1 Win
Thank you all the mums for getting out of bed and missing out on breakfast in bed to come to the game. Georgah was man of the match today, good game Georgah. The girls dominated the game from start to finish demonstrating their ball skills. Congratulations to Kaitlyn scoring her first ever goal and then she back up with another one to make it a duo. Then it was Alana who was the only one in the team not to score a goal, however it didnt take long before she cracked one in. Well done girls. Everyone played well and positioning the play and sharing the ball around was good. |
May 02 W14B vs Budgewoi , Result: 4 - 2 Win
Another great game by the girls. A tough opposition this week but our girls are getting stronger & stronger. After 5 minutes of play Sian scored the first goal. Georgah was 20 mins late when she finally got on the field she set up a goal for Nicole which made it 2 nil. Budgewoi scored a goal near half time and the score was 2 - 1.
In the second half Heidi found herself in open space to score. 3 - 1.
Libby held the back line in the second half, a lucky goal was scored against the run of play. 3 - 2. Heidi found herself in open space again which made it 4 - 2. Another solid game by Alana and the man of the match went to Rosie who was not well and done a great job in the backs. |
Apr 26 W14B vs Southern Ettalong , Result: 6 - 2 Win
Another great win by the girls, competition was stronger today and once again the girls improve and by half time it was 4-1 and put the opposition out of reach. Although Southern Ettalong fought back in the second half we managed to score another 2 goals to their 1 which reflected the score. Alana done a great job in goals and Man of the match was Kayla who done a fantastic job at stopper. Well done girls.

Great game from everyone today. Good skills were seen on the field today by passing the ball around and using all of your options. Girls all played well together as a team with a great result. Man of the Match went to Hanna. Good game Hanna.
Dont forget Training Tuesday and Gabbi will be at the field at 5.30pm if anyone wants to have a warm up and train with the 14 boys. Please let Gabbi or Dave know if you can not make training or the game. |

Great start to the season its good to see all the girls turn up on school holidays. With only a few training sessions the team worked really well together. Our goals scorers today went to Sian (2) Sophie (2) Nicole (2) Heidi (1) and Georgah (1). Back combination of Libby, Kayla, Katilyn and Shania with Hanna moving the ball up, have all done a fantastic job to keep to score to 1. Thanks to Rosie who went in goals 2nd half to give Alana a run on the field. Dont forget training Tuesday Night at Frost 6 - 7 please let Dave know if you cant make it. |
