THANKYOU to SHARON ELLWOOD & JEFF BEEHAG

NON COMP (U5's to U9's) would like to say a huge THANKYOU to SHARON ELLWOOD & JEFF BEEHAG for helping Non Comp this year.

Sharon has been our Fixtures officer who notified teams of game changes, cancellations & helped in general with Non Comp. Sharon always went the extra mile trying to organise additional games for teams who looked like missing out. This was Sharons 2nd year & without doubt, has provided 2 great years of service ensuring you get to the right ground at the right time,setting a standard envied by other clubs.

Jeff has been our Cadet Referee Manager who organised our up & coming Cadets Refs every week. Jeff also went the extra yards watching & providing guidance & organising last minute cadet refs for the mid field when official referees were not available. This was the best year I have seen for our Cadet Refs who were on the park from the first week & have learnt a lot thanks the effort of volunteers such as Jeff.

KRFC committee, members, parents & all the kids say THANKYOU to both of you for helping this year
& doing a fantastic job - Well Done.



WHEN THINGS DON'T GO THE WAY YOU WANT...........

Ever thought how hard it is jump in & cover for the Coach?
Well Kincumber try hard Matt DeVille found out this weekend when he took charge of the 11A2s then also took to the task with a great warm up & team talk however a picture tells a thousand words - kids appear to have had fun but Matt had the official table helpers scrambling for some double figures for the scoreboard. Electrical tape soon helped update the score - it was a tough match for the 11A2s but they never gave up.

Under 10b's Fantastic result from Croydon Gala Day

The gala was a 16 team round robin made up of A and B teams, divided into four groups with 3 points awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw.

The top eight teams based on points would go through to the quarter finals. The Kincumber 10B's finished second overall on the ladder as one of two teams that were undefeated at the end of the round robin.

We played APIA Leichhardt in the first quarter final, while the score was a nil-all draw we were knocked out based on corners given 3 to 1. While it was sad to be knocked out on corners the boys can hold their heads high as they played some brilliant football, to the point I had one of the linesman pass comment to me on how well the team had played throughout the day.

We also finish the day without a goal scored against us.

The finalists were Sydney Juniors vs Terrigal United. Result 3 to 0

Killarney District Football Club's U10's Gala Day Report

Congratulations' to the Kincumber under 10 sides who competed in the Killarney District Football club's gala day.

On this rainy freezing cold wet day with parents and players finding anywhere to keep dry and warm. Well the weather didn't dampen our players hearts or football ability.

Our 10d team came runners up on the day.
Runners up by ONLY one goal in goal difference.

Our 10b team also came runners up on the day and can you believe it by one goal in goal difference.

Our 10a team won their division.

To be a Roos player or supporter during that day and at the presentation would have made you proud seeing our club colours in jackets umbrellas, track suit pants and socks let alone the loudest cheering supports for our teams during games but the other teams as well and their wins on the day.
